Blender Basics

Hi!  Cathy Harper, guest designing for ADORNit today, with the fun Blender Basics line.  I love everything about this complete line of paper...so many trendy designs with tons of great colors.  All the patterns are right on with what’s going on in the paper crafting world right now.  Damask, Chevrons and Dots all right here in the Blender Basics...a scrapper’s dream come true!

First, I have a monotone layout with the Green Blender Basics.  I thought it would be fun to show what a great crisp, clean look you can achieve with monotone colors.  I simply cut lots of circles, bursts, butterflies and hearts with my Silhouette Cameo and then just layered and played until I loved the looked.  Then I added a bit of machine stitching, a few buttons, a die cut title and two best friends and I had great layout in no time at all!

Next, I grabbed a bunch of colors of the ADORNit Blender Basics and set out to create an eye catching, color inspired layout.  I admit this one took a bit more time but I love how it turned out.  I cut the bubble background with my Silhouette Cameo and then traced the die cut pieces left behind onto the Blender Basics papers, cut them out and layered them behind the bubble background.  Then I added a few butterflies and some hearts, another die cut title, two adorable kiddos which equals another layout which I love.  I adore the trendy patterns and colors with this layout, they add so much depth and interest.

You simply have to give these Blender Basics a try...they are your perfect paper crafting accessory!

Thank you for stopping by today and hoping you find some time create with ADORNit today!
